| Two Ships At Night - Lake Superior 2011 |
Here's a series of 5 paintings I did recently for an exhibit about the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. They are done in oil paint, spray paint, oil stick and gouache on tar paper and they riff off of the underwater photographs that were first taken when the wreckage of the ship was discovered just over 500 ft. below the surface of Lake Superior in 1976.
